I hope i can do that, it took me a while to settle down, and the fact that im a fourth year with tons of work to do just sunk in to my brain.. talk about sloow..

Anyways, i’m enjoying my classes, i hope i can do well in them. I have a presentation due next mon, which seems to be more work than i thought it would be. 

back to work:  diversification and predictability of stocks

a horrible disaster

i had a bad exam today..
i had wrote 8 pages worth of something i didn’t really know.
this tells me never to spot questions for an exam again…

the other 2 exams were better.. thankfully..

anyways.. 3 down, 2 to go..

my misery will be over soon.

the last 2 weeks.

i didn’t realise how time flies.. it seemed like yesterday that my mom arrived in edinburgh, and i just sent her off in a taxi just now..

it seemed natural that she was here… it’s hard to explain. but it was nice having someone in the room to talk to, and complain to, heh.

she bought me lots of snacks (there’s a pile of chocolate on my table, and chocolate cake bars, peanuts, pringles on my metal tray).

the bulk of my exams will be over next sat..(4/5 exams by 5 may).
it seems too quick, there’s work to do.. and i should study now..

the weather in edinburgh is quite warm for the last week..
its 15 degrees with sun now.

a quick update..

i just re-arranged my room again.. i swapped the position of my desk and bed.

i managed to keep myself away from watching youtube and downloaded videos… it was quite difficult.. and i shall perservere…..

facebook: still login once in a while.. for a couple of mins each time..
gmail: still keep the window open all time, oh well..

11 days to my first exam
20 days to my last exam.

26 days.

16 days to my first exam..

26 days to freedom, to the end of exams, end of third year..

it sounds like a long while, but its actually not.. time just seems to fly past you. it wasn’t too long ago that i just started third year… which was last sept.. when business studies became my degree subject.. i’ve learnt quite a lot this year.. more updates and reflections on that after exams..

i have decided to write/blog more this year. so i will have this blog as a diary of my last two years of formal education.

forgot to mention that my mom is in edinburgh, staying here for another 1.5 weeks before she flies back to sg. she isn’t too impressed with my current flat, of course, you can’t expect too much of student accommodation in a a conserved area.. she managed to make the flat look clean & neat.. which was quite amazing..

i have decided to stop myself from facebooking this week. and i won’t be checking my email so often..and
no more internet videos/downloads for me till 10th may.
